For this project, I built a web-based casting application used to collect and manage contestant submissions for American Ninja Warrior and other television shows. The application was developed using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and CSS, with a focus on handling complex form workflows and high volumes of applicant data.
On the front end, I implemented a multi-step application form that allows users to enter detailed information, upload casting images and videos, and accept required terms and releases. The form was designed to guide applicants through a structured submission process while ensuring data validation and completeness.
The backend includes an administrative system used by casting teams to review and manage applicants. Features include searchable applicant records, applicant groups, internal notes, downloadable casting cards, and reporting on applicant counts and demographics. These tools enabled casting producers to efficiently evaluate large applicant pools and track submissions throughout the casting process.
The platform was used to manage casting for other shows including The Weakest Link, Titan Games, College Bowl, Dunk King, Dunk Man, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity, and more.
